default web browser

After successfully using fldigi 3.21.77 for many moons I have somehow managed to botch the online web browser call-sign look-up. Now when I click on the look-up button I get a pop-up window "Failed to execute default Web Browser. Failed to execute child process "google" (No such file or directory)."

I realise this message is true but I can't seem to find a way of putting it right from the any of the configuration menu options in fldigi.

(running on linux mint 15 with Google Chrome browser)

Further to my last post I can confirm that the qrz.com lookup is working. The UI log fields are filled in as before. However, it is unable to invoke the web browser or raise a browser tab if already running.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Other than double checking that you do indeed have the default browser
set, I have no idea. I can not duplicate the problem here.

Have you tried using hamqth and see if you get the same results ?
