Properly saving macro files and negotiating the operating file system
seems to be a problem with Windows users, but this might also apply to a
few Linux and OS X users as well.

Sorry Marion, I forgot that this group does not allow embedded images in

No joy Dave :-(
I need somehow to get your screen capture images, I guess.
The computer seems to be saving the macros, but not where they should.
After opening the flidigi configuration dialog to the macro tab, I do not
find three buttons on the bottom to check. Clearly I am doing something
wrong :-(

Not being a Window user, I just booted into W7 (new computer), I could
not reproduce the problem. fldigi worked normally. Most of the
problem.......you are just going to have to read the Help file !!!!
and make sure you have installed fldigi correctly.

I also could not reproduce the problem on the mini mac.

Meanwhile its back to Linux for me.
