Both fldigi 3.22.0 and flrig 1.3.17 using the i386.dmg files show icons with the STOP (circle with line through it) whereas flmsg 2.0.5 (from the flmsg i386.dmg) does not.
Could they be packaged incorrectly?
I am running the new Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

You probably have Gatekeeper activated. Right click on the icon and select
"Open". When it asks you for confirmation, say yes.

Do this once and you should be good to go.

Actually I think you have to right click and then hold CTRL while you hit open. It will ask you if you want to be able to run this in the future and you say yes
At least that’s the error I’ve been running into.

Hello Bruce,

If the binary isn't intel code aka powerpc you would see this icon. Run this from the command line and report the results.

Below is an example of what should be type on the command line. Your path might vary. In this case this is what was returned and is what your are looking for.

Robert

lipo -i /Users/robert/Desktop/fldigi-3.22.00.app/Contents/MacOS/fldigi

Non-fat file: /Users/robert/Desktop/fldigi-3.22.00.app/Contents/MacOS/fldigi is architecture: i386
