Ive been watching the thread with your problems, and while Ed is well intentioned, he has probably forgotten more about Linux than I’ll ever learn. So he can get you well past your pay grade.

Do you specifically need flrig? There are people who love it, but fldigi has perfectly good rig control built in. Hamlib works well.

I just find some of the experts are very helpful, but oftn the new guys and gals become lost way too quickly. Let me know if you need any assistance offlist. I’m a lot closer to a new guy than some here.

Hardly off-line, you need to check where this was being sent before you
hit the Send button. Hardly a day goes by that I don't learn something
new about Linux. Man pages, help files, and Google is how I find
tid-bits here and there.
