Robust Packet Radio, with Linux?

Hi.

Having tried HF APRS using DireWolf (amazing software!) for a few days, have
found little success.

I can RX and decode my transmissions from the mobile at home just fine, but
there seems to be few if any 300bd HF APRS gates in Europe nowadays, where
most HF APRS activity seems to have moved to RPR (Robust Packet Radio.)

Uses multiple PSK63 signals from what I can gather.
(Seems to be propriatary to SCS Trackers, but at nearly EUR300, that's a bit rich
for me, for one trip.)

No problem with that, it seems from the ammount of traffic I can hear, to be
working well, plus anoter ham I know who does use it, also says it works well.

But, as yet, I have not found any Linux program or code that will handle it. It
seem to be Windows only at present.

Unless anyone here knows different!..

I have a 4x4 trip to South Central France in November, and would like to use
HF APRS as a low bandwidth tracker. Trouble is over that distance on 30m
and with relatively low power (have been using a KX3 for trials) to keep battery
drain managable, also with physically small antanna's (less likely to be
damaged by passing trees etc) it's been unsuccessful so far, being heard
outside my own area.

And of course, my portable PC runs Lubuntu these days.
(Loaded with Fldigi etc, QSStv, YAAC, DireWolf, and other stuff.)

73.

Dave G0WBX.
